Graduated in Psychology (Catholic University of Milan, 2002), Dr. Laura Mandelli is a postgraduate Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist (University of Milan, 2012). She has an international master degree in Affective Neuroscience (University of Maastricht, Netherlands 2008) and a PhD in Psychobiology (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, 2011).
She worked as a consultant Psychologist of the Center for Mood disorders and the General Psychiatry at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (2005-2007). Since 2006 she has been working as a researcher and assistant professor in psychiatry at the University of Bologna, and as consultant Psychologist for the university Unit for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Anxiety and Mood disorders, housed within the Department of Mental Health, AUSL of Bologna.
She is co-author of over 100 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and 4 chapters in specialized books, member of scientific editorial boards, national and international associations in the field of mental health, expert for the European Research Council (ERC) of the European Union.
