After graduating with a degree in medicine from the University of Milan, Dr Colombo completed a specialization in General Surgery in 2010 and has since been working as a Consulting Surgeon for L.Sacco University Hospital in Milan.
During his medical training, he worked in relevant Italian and foreign hospitals (UK and Netherlands).
His main topics of interest are colorectal surgery, proctology and abdominal wall surgery (inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia, incisional hernia).
He is the author and coauthor of several medical publications. He has presented his work and been invited to give lectures in several national and international conferences.
