Dr. Santagostino completed her specialization in Gynecology with full marks and honors from the Università degli Studi in Milan, after conducting her professional training at Mangiagalli Clinic. In 2014 she became licensed to conduct the nuchal translucency exam, a fetal screening carried out during the first trimester of pregnancy.
In the Mangiagalli Clinic, she has been working on clinical and research activities related to preventive oncology and vulvar pathology, and she also provides support to the 'Sexual and Domestic Violence Service'.
Since 2015 she has been attending the School of Sexual Consultancy directed by the Italian Association of Sexology and Applied Psychology (AISPA), officially recognized by the Italian Federation of Scientific Sexology.
She currently works with both private practices and clinics associated with the national health system within Milan and its province.
During her residency she took part in an international cooperation project with the association of Mangiagalli Life, working in a small hospital in Ecuador and in villages of the Esmeraldas region.
